About Me:
I've been knitting for 2 years and LOVE it, but alas, I have no one to knit with. I'm a mom of 2, a 7 year old son and 17 year old daughter, and wife to a hard-working dedicated husband. We are currently rennovating our kitchen. I'm also involved in Sunday school, VBS, and AWANA at my church in Dedham, MA.

Kitchen Update We are close to ordering cabinets. One company we looked at could ship as soon as a week from now, so it will suddenly become a reality! I know it will take time to get the ceiling done and walls painted once I have the cabinets in our hands. I am waiting to see the actual wood before I decide on wall paint because I don't want it to clash or anything. I am getting a little excited, though! Last night I had to rip out two heels that were too short on my two at once socks.… Continue

I finally mailed the package to my neice and nephew with their birthday gifts today. My nephew's b-day was yesterday. You would think that since I have had the darn thing done for about 2 weeks, I could get it there on time! But I was bogged down with preparations for company and my DD's party this weekend. Now my company is not coming, so I am a little more relaxed and focused on the party. I think it is going to be a lot of fun this weekend at 4th Cliff. I'm looking forward to hanging out with… Continue

Boy is it a good thing I didn't listen to the sock blank podcast before I put my order in, I would have probably spent $100! But, alas, now I am jealous of those who did order the sock blanks and are on their way to sock yarn dyeing nirvana! Someday, someday. I did order some Bare sock yarn, and I do want to try the Kool Aid dyeing. I just don't want to spend a lot of moolah and then find out that it is a pain in the you-know-what. I can go to Savers and buy a pot and spend a couple bucks on con… Continue

Hi,I don't have much as you can see.I belong to KME4U group;Knitters Review; My Space and facebook And it's a little much for me.I like my space more.I seem to dress it up more. You may jpin that and see my page if you wish.I don't join in wit KR anymore.I just sometimes read some things. And do the Poll when I get the newsletter once a week .The reason I joined KME4U is because my friend in LI kept encouraging me to join as this group. And her and my other friend here as you can see ,we met on KR about 5 years ago.I don't know if you can go into their profile, but the one with the Knit bag as quite of interesting things all the time in her pages(my Space and here.)
You're quite busy yourself I see.I didn't think you were quit the age of a graduate from H.S.LOL! You look quite young.

I don't know Curves in Dedham. And I think that's the church I visited a long time ago.Is it on Milton St.?I 've been a member of the So.End Neighborhood church since the 80's now.I don't know what I'm going to do for the gas is too much for me to continue going so far.But we the members and visiters do think that's the best neighborhood church in Boston.LOL!
As for a knitting group,it would be kind of difficult for me.I will be starting a knitting group for a middle school in Dorchester. The assistant Principal met me in the year of 1999(I think). When I was a experience Senior Corp in a mattapan school. And out of the clear blue a couple of weeks ago she called me and asked me if I would be willing to teach the middle school group how to knit.at the school she's now a principal at.
What I don't understand is how it works in getting friends here. Are you on another group that you got my email from or something?Don't get me wrong I don't mind.i'm just curious how you got to me.lo!

Great pictures!!! I too have a fondness for the sport of adventure knitting, but where do you find the time? You have done so many fun projects! Lately, I have had to do projects which don't require counting and can travel to and from school and sports.
