About Me:
I have been married to the same wonderful man for 30 years who encourages my knitting habit....bought me a gift certificate from our LYS for Valentine's Day...and wants me make him things....I have two great kids my married daughter and wonderful son in law
I have a teenage son who is now officially a head taller than I. He says now he's accomplished one of his life's goals, being taller than I. My husband listens to me talk non stop about a pattern and ask the right question! My latest craze is socks....socks...socks...

Well I'm almost done with one chemo cap for a friend of mine and have started another....it takes months for hair to grow back from harsh chemo chemicals and radiation is coming up.... makes me grateful for my health...and ability to give back in a small way...

Hi, thanks for the invite. I'll be honest-I don't spend much time on the computer-even setting up that page on KnitPicks was a bit much for me. But always interested in hearing what others are doing. I'm currently working on a sleeveless lace summer top that takes ALL my attention right now. Thanks, I'll do the best I can keeping up, okay? Sharon

Hi,
Thanks for the invite! Yes I want to be on ur list! Not too many knitters in NJ it seems. Sox are addictive. I always am working on a pair, usually for the grandkids. It took me a while to answer cause u r "behind" us in time. You are the 2nd person who asked me is i had a ravelry id....what is it exactly? And what is a "blog"? I hear about it but am not sure what IT is? Like a dairy? Or a place to get patterns and advise? Will be busy today. We r planning a "surprise" Bday party fr my "oldest" daughter whom turns 40. Yikes! I dont feel I should have a kid that old....
By the way ALL our kids are taller than I. The only one shorter is one of my daughters in law, so SHE is the one we all call shorty.
Talk soon, perhaps tommorow if can get moving after tonite's party
Bye,
Ingrid

You are so lucky to garden all year. We just had snow here today in MA. Just waiting for the spring to arrive so I can plant my geraniums and my flower boxes off my porch.

Since it snowed all day and was dark and dreary, I just knitted the day away. Right now I am finishing a sweater that my Mom started. She had a problem following the directions and liked the sweater so much, I just had to finish it for her. It's a simple cardigan with a knit below stitch. I am also making a summer sweater for myself. So......during the day I knit for her and at night I knit for me!!! Nice chatting. Talk with you soon. Karen (Bing)

Hiya! Thanks for the friend invite...love to accept. I, too, love the picture on your blog. I could so take a little nap there. I aspire to have a great blog one day too, but can't seem to find (make) the time to keep one going. But I agree with you....stash diets are for the birds. We work hard to earn our money, why not splurge a little on our selves to make it all worth while. My yarn and by knitting book collection make me happy, so I'll keep adding to it when ever possible, lol

The shawl sounds lovely! I am currently working on a very easy pattern I found on the Lion brand website. It looked so easy that I had to attempted it. It is a work in progress for me. Hopefully I will get photos and pattern up soon on the site. I am working on that one now. Hope your weekend is great...your new knitting friend Kaye~

Thank you for adding me to your friends list... I simply love your photograph on your site with the boat and chair and water! How beautiful and calming it is. I too enjoy digital photography... it is one of my peacefully enjoyed outlets like knitting.
