I love the doily you knitted, it is beautiful. I have crocheted doilies for years but have not knitted one. I tried to years ago but since I didn't have a clue what I was doing I wasn't successful. I have learned to to do more than basic knitting and completed a lace knit shawl this past six months so think I am ready to attempt one. I bought a book of patterns and was pleased to see that it did a crochet cast on which I think will help a great deal. I hope to start one soon.
Thank you Crystal! It is actually a doily. I got the pattern from Yarnover.net. Under patterns, doilies, kunststrik.dk, it is the Egeblad doily. I knit it with size 10 crochet cotton on size 6 needles. It came out quite big, about 2 feet across. It was a lot of fun!
Options needles. Sharp points, smooth cable joins, flexible cables. Interchangeable needle tips starting at 4.99. Also available as classic circulars and double pointed needles.
