- I have been knitting since I was in third grade and my maternal grandmother had the patience to teach me. I have 6 daughters and 15 grands so there is always someone with a knitting "need" or "want".
I also play oboe and percussion in two different band organizations.
I was widowed in October 2006 for second time and now spend all my evenings outside of band rehearsals..knitting! Irish sweaters are my fav but socks are still the requested item!
