Was a nice, relaxing day. I knit some on a sweater I am doing for DH. I want to have it done for him by his birthday in 1 month. I am making good progress so still have positive outlook. Knitting with friends tomorrow so will get a little more time in on it tomorrow.

I frogged the nutkins-didn't like them for me. I am working on a sweater for my hubby for his birthday (in one month) Nothing like waiting 'til the last minute. I am super busy today with little projects so am aiming at getting through those and on to my needles and yarn. We are staying home for Easter this year so I am looking forward to a day of relaxation with the family and some knitting.

Finished the sandle socks and casted on Nutkins. Using a self dyed Bare. Sooooo soft. I will be busy today so not a lot of knitting time but will grab whatever time I have. A friend came over last night with a new gadget for me. For lack of better description it is a plastic iced tea jar with a hole in the lid. Great little item. I was just about ready to cast on so dropped the yarn in there and away I went. It is pretty handy. Thanks Chris!!

Today I am going to finish the sandle socks. That was the plan for yesterday-obviously that didn't happen. I am looking forward to casting on Nutkin. I need to get some housework done. Can't understand why the family expects that. Just gets in the way of my knitting time. BTW Happy St Patricks day!!

Had to go into town shopping again. DD needed dress clothes for school functions. Shopping with a teenager-argh! I about walked off my footsies. But she pickied some gorgeous clothing and looks so grown up. Now that everyone has been fed and settled for the night I am going to FINISH my sandle socks. Soooo close. Then will use leftover to make a pair of baby socks. My wonderful, lovely niece just told us she was expecting. Need to get busy if I am to spoil the newest addition to the family prope… Continue
