Second Post

As I was tucking the ends of my yarn into the back of my apricot top, somehow I did something wrong-I now have a dime-size hole in it. How? I haven't a clue. I spent several hours trying to fix it with no good results. It's going to have to go to Loom With A View and see if Betsy or someone there can fix it for me for not too much money. I've had this project hanging around for 3 years now; maybe two, maybe four...seems an eternity. It's going to be sleeveless top because not enough yarn to make… Continue

My first blog post

I never thought I'd would write in a blog. I can't even keep up on my journaling, much less write about stuff in a blog. But here goes. Today was a pretty good day. It was sunny and fairly warm. I went to Bldg. #19 with Kathy around 11 a.m. Mostly browsed, but did manage to get a Battenburg shower curtain for Kathy for her upcoming birthday on April 2nd. She loves Battenburg. I had been waiting for 3 days for Conlin's pharmacy to deliver a raised toilet seat and frame. The driver called my house… Continue

Hi,

I am just stopping in to say Hello and see if you would be interested in a new knitting friend? I have been a hobbiest and crocheter since I was 7 years old. Just a few months ago a friend of mine taught me to knit and purl. I am hooked!

Since then I have made two scarves in a basketweave pattern and currently working on a simple Curtain Call Shrug pattern I located on the Lion brand site. I want to learn all I can now that I have started knitting. Someday want to learn to cable too.

Drop me a note if you are interested in a new knitting friend. Have a great day...

Hope your day went well. I had company all day. Pat, Gordon, Linda
came to visit with my Mom. I just put dinner on late. I have been running around all day. I had to send more paper work to Florida. What a day. It cost me another $30 in postage for overnight mail. I can't wait for it to be over. Talk later. Bing
