About Me:
I'm a mom of 2 great kids and married to a great guy for the last 14 years. I've been knitting about 4 or 5 years - my sister in law taught me when she was visiting and I've truly become a knitting nut over the last 2 years.

After several pleas for help finding the Pharoah shawls, I realized that a note was essential. Funny, the english language! Now you can go off into internet land and enjoy finding some more references. I would definitely suggest searching in Flickr.

Kelley

Hi Robyn,

I am near Modesto, CA. So maybe a couple hours or so from you...(not too far). Glad to meet you, nice to know so many love to knit, and to be able to network and learn together.

I am currently working on uploading my projects, hope to have that going up soon. Working on a shrug that seems simple, will post photos soon.

Write to me anytime, what projects are you working on?

Your new knitting friend, Kaye~

Hi,

I am just stopping in to say Hello and see if you would be interested in a new knitting friend? I have been a hobbiest and crocheter since I was 7 years old. Just a few months ago a friend of mine taught me to knit and purl. I am hooked!

Since then I have made two scarves in a basketweave pattern and currently working on a simple Curtain Call Shrug pattern I located on the Lion brand site. I want to learn all I can now that I have started knitting. Someday want to learn to cable too.

Drop me a note if you are interested in a new knitting friend. Have a great day...

Hi Robyn,

They are called Faroese Shawls. Here are a couple of good sites.
