On the Delta side, about an hour south of Pine Bluff.
I'm working on a sweater for my husband. It's from Interweave Knits. It's called the Retrograde Pullover in red heart yarn. I don't make things out of wool for others because they never take care of like you think they should. I have 5 more inches on the body then I start on the sleeves.

Hi Danielle! Right now, I am knitting a noni Adventure bag. Got the pattern at my lys and I'm using some cascade 220 and it is knitting up really fast. Can't wait to felt it. Where in AR did you live?

It's easy to convert dpn patterns to circular needles. Most sock pattern like 2 halves to make a whole. Just the pattern stitches in half. Two circulars is my favorite way to do socks. You will do just fine. I learned on dpns and it took me a long time to convert to circulars. This year I learned how to do two socks at once on circulars. That was interesting.

I am knitting a pair of socks, first time since elementary school! I was intrigued by the idea of doing two at once with two circulars from the toe up so that's what I am doing using the Knitpicks free pattern. So far it's going fine - once I got beyond the casting on and figuring out where I was going. They have no pattern, just plain stocking stitch. I would like to try some from the sock book that are a bit more interesting to do, but wasn't sure about adapting dpn patterns to circular needles. But maybe I will just try with the dpns.
