We definitely don't stay on schedule!! :) We make an attempt to stay with the month's projects but we tend to get off track. I'm still finishing January's Aran Sweater. But, I WILL finish by August 1st to wear when my husband and I leave for Ireland.
Ugh, that's 25" you could have been knitting! Darn dropped stitch anyway! I have finally learned the same, that if it is 'painful', to frog it fast before I have time to think about it. hearing that you already have about 6" knit using the zigzag pattern, wow! That is definitely proof that you made the right choice. I wish I could knit that fast!
As to what brought me to Montana, my brother was already living here, so when I was having problems with a boyfriend, he suggested moving out here. It was meant to be, as I met my future husband here (a native Montanan) and now have two great boys and live on a ranch. I must say, I don't miss the humidity of CT.
Wow, 22 years is a long 9 months!
I hope you will pot pics of your zigzag socks, when I get back to my Fair Isle ones, I will post a pic, but at the moment, I am trying to clear some UFOs off the needles. :o)
