About Me:: I've been knitting for more than 30 years, have done at least a dozen sweaters, including an Aran. Most recently I did a cardigan with cable ribbing. I am now nearly finished with a pair of Butterfly socks. My next project will be a Victorian Lace Sampler shawl done in Gloss Lace.

At 6:21pm on June 2, 2008, Fineknit said…: I am thrilled to have found Knit Picks. I was searching for sock yarn and there they were. That has been a couple of years ago. Like all my knitting sisters, I have a large stash of yarns, in all sizes, all fabric contents, all colors. Projects currently underway include my Butterfly socks, which I am making knee high for my 5'9" frame, and a Great American Designer afghan, which is about 1/4 done. One of the squares included a tiny pair of socks knit from the toes up, and I was HOOKED. I love making socks! Also love making lace. Someone did me a great service recently, and I gave her my lace shawl, so I have to make another. Oh darn. Haha. I've been reading some of your entries, and look forward to visiting with any or all of you.
