knitting sock toes

Can anybody give me some tips on how to knit neat toes on socks. I use the magic loop method. Have not mastered the double pointed needles although I know the basics of it. I am very clumsy with them and make unsightly stretched stitches. Can someone help. Thanks

I wonder if anybody out there can give me some tips on knitting the toes on socks and fingers on gloves. I use the magic loop method and as of yet have not mastered sock toes and glove fingers. My work is acceptable but not like I want it to be. I am clumsy with dps. and have never mastered to dps although I know how to do it. I am clumsy with the dps. Please help
