Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. My youngest son graduated and we took a little vacation. I have scanned the pattern for the baby jacket on my page. I am not sure how to get it to you though. Try this and if it doesn't work let me know I will e-mail it to you.

I wasn't affected (other than spending two hours in lockdown at my son's preschool). Thanks for asking. We do live close to Windsor and the community is doing a great job reaching out. If the energy keeps up, Windsor will recover in no time.

I haven't made gloves before, but lots of mittens. Do you have a book or pattern that is worth mentioning for me to check out for the gloves. I like to knit with DPN so would take a crack at gloves. That's 10 fingers to do seperately.....LOL but I could try. Can't be harder than socks right?

Good morning. I accidentally stumbled upon your page and glad I did. I also love pioneer history. I work at a living working historical village in Ohio. I started there quilting but now work as the receptionist of the complex. My love of textiles and needle work brought me there to begin with. It would be a great place for you to bring the kids as part of their schooling.

Wow! I thought I was busy homeschooling my 3. I bet you have LOTS of wisdom to share though. Hope to see you around.

Thank you for taking the time out what seems to be a very busy life you have, and write to me. As silly as it sounds it was all very exciting. I love pioneer history and have read several novels about the plains in our area. One of my very favorite authors is Sandra Dallas. She is from Colorado and writes great historical fiction. If you haven't read her you should pick up one. I recommend "The Diary of Mattie Spenser".
Do you have a group you knit with?
Are you north plains or south plains?

Say, how about putting in a blog? I'd like to hear more about what sounds like your busy life.
