About Me:
I have been knitting and doing all kinds of needlework for many years but have been taken over by the knitting fever for the last couple of years and I don't think there is a cure (I hope not). I am married and have five grown children and seven grandchildren which I enjoy very much. I'm hoping to find friends that enjoy to knit as much as I do. Everytime I think I need a treat it is another bundle of yarn or knitting needle or pattern book. What a wonderful obsession.

Hi! Glad to hear from you. I'm in Sutherland and facilitate the Saskatoon Knitting Circle knitting group. Care to join us one Sunday afternoon. We meet every Sunday at Mackenzie Coles Coffee? It is a wonderful afternoon with stitching and great friends. We meet at 2 pm. As for knitting, well I've been doing it for what seems like all my life. My Grandmother and Mother taught my sisters and I when we were young, but I'm really the only one who kept it up (a bit of an obsession, really). I love cables and faire isle and seem to always have something on the go. Thanks for adding me as your friend.

Hi,
I am curious about tatting too, I was looking at it last night online on other people pages here on knitpicks. I have no idea where to start with it?

I also am hooked on knitting too, and have been a crocheting person since I was very young in elementary school. I had a wonderful teacher who taught her students to cook, crochet & knit. I took to crocheting first due to her beautiful blankets she would create in class.

Just resently I relearned to knit & purl from a gal I met in High School, Loretta. We met up again when she called and invited me to meet at a LYS in Oakdale, CA. We had so much fun, who would have known that in just a few hours I would be knitting and turn into such an addict! :^)

So here, now... I find myself on Knitpicks.com wanting knitting friends so I may learn and share with a community of others who enjoy the same things. I really thought my "stash of yarn was a sickness" but after reading that is is quite common... I feel like I fit right in!

I am glad to meet you and hope we can keep in touch and share storys and ideas along the way.
Thank you for adding me in your knitting circle too.

Your friend,

Kaye~

Hi,

I am just stopping in to say Hello and see if you would be interested in a new knitting friend? I have been a hobbiest and crocheter since I was 7 years old. Just a few months ago a friend of mine taught me to knit and purl. I am hooked!

Since then I have made two scarves in a basketweave pattern and currently working on a simple Curtain Call Shrug pattern I located on the Lion brand site. I want to learn all I can now that I have started knitting. Someday want to learn to cable too.

Drop me a note if you are interested in a new knitting friend. Have a great day...

Kaye from California
