Would anyone be willing to share the pattern with me? It's from near the beginning of the calendar, and shows a purple pullover. I'm using Knitpicks Cotlin (with adjustments for gauge) and added a simple lace pattern stitch. It was looking so good! - really would like to finish it!

Permalink Reply by handoverthewool on August 19, 2008 at 2:01pm: You will need to add vinegar to the dye, and paint on socks which have been soaked for a couple hours but are pressed or spun out almost dry. I would practice on some swatchs first, and check into thickening dye to keep it from moving. I haven't done this exact technique, but in painting yarn or roving these tips have helped me in keeping colors separate.; ▶ Reply to This

Does anyone know what stitch was used in the swatch in the upper left corner on the cover of the Fall 2008 catalog? And which yarn was used? The varigation is perfect with that stitch. I need to know. Really, really need to know. I need to knit this. Please help me out!
