I feel a little, um, sheepish about this, but I'm pretty naughty when it comes to properly blocking my knitted pieces before I assemble them into garment-form. Usually, I finish the last stitches on the sleeve and I can't wait to start seaming things together to make sure that my math didn't lie to me and make me lose hours of my life.

I added some Kookaburra Woolwash to an order a couple of months ago (had to get the free shipping, you know?) and it has completely transformed my attitude regarding blocking. It smells so good! The tea tree oil gives it this scent that says "Oh, Alison, you are so good for blocking before you seam - here's a little olfactory reward for your nose!"

Here's a picture of my Tempest sweater all blocked out from two weeks ago - the Kookaburra smell got me so excited that I whipped through the rest of the knitting just so I could block the sleeves. :)
