Hi Jilled, was thinking of you, and was cruising on some knitted sites, The Loopy Ewe, had a KAL on clapotis, thought you would find that as interesting as I did, hope you can go to the site before they remove the shawl, one had beads in the dropped stitches, the colors they used. hugs irene

Sewed a few beads on the edge, chrystal #8 , they look a little large, but was wondering how they felt against the neck, yours look so good. I have a navy clapotis started , just cause I had the yarn, it will be a little warmer later. Trying to finish a few things, seems more started then being finished. Lets knit happily, Irene

Oh my gosh you deserve hugs that was a lot of work , what now, what could be more of a challange, guess you will have to do some research on some thing, I am working on two pairs of socks, for a DIL, she love hand knitted socks, she does not care that they are self stripping yarns, just so she gets some. oxox Irene

Thanks the yarn is hanging to dry, I ripped the sweater onto my swifter, then tired it in six places, soaked it really wet and it is hanging in the shade to dry, when still dry it looked all fluffy and crinkled, it looked like a Hi leig, LOL, now it looks like it will be nice and smooth, thanks. That is a long Clapotis, do you have any hints on what to block in on, I got a blocking set from Knitpicks but should have ordered two, not almost long enough, in the past I have blocked shawls on the bed. Thanks, Irene

I think the cotton will be lovely..perfect for wearing when the airconditioning is too cool.
I'm still workingon my second Clap..using Knit Picks Shimmer that was in my stash.
A friend just bought a mountain home and I'm going to knit him an afghan. Think I am going to do the Tree of Life Pattern. I'm using my husband's computer, right now, but when I get back to mine, I'll let you know what pattern and yarn I've decided on.
