ooh, and you are a canner too???? I love canning. My goodness we have so much in common!!! I love to cook and knit, AND knit foods, LOL!!! i love cats, altho my Dh does not, so the best i can do is lure a stray cat into my lair, LOL!!!!
yahoo, another tatter!! thanks for commenting on my wall!!! I just loooked to see if my old website (Jen's Tatra Sutra) was still online to share with you, but geocities deleted it, recently i'd say, cuz it was there a bit ago. Oh i am so upset! i worked so hard on that site, lol. like 12 years ago.... all my work is lost, lol.
I can't believe I still have some of those 10cent doily books from the 50ths, still fun to look at them and see them being used today, what fun they were and look like they still are. palsknitto
I agree- it is SO hard to find knit doily patterns! There are quite a few free ones on a website though. They are HERE at yarnover.net. I have made one of them so far!! Then the Herbert Neiblings, but I'm thinking they are a little too grandiose for me quite yet. :) I'll get to them eventually... -Peggy AKA Pickles
I have yet to find a very good place to get yarn around here. Michaels craft store is about the best so far, and they don't have hardly any needles, I have to go to Jo-Ann Fabrics for those.
Many years ago, my husband and son and I lived in Coos Bay. In fact, my son, who is 39 today, was born in Coos Bay. So we were almost neighbors, sort of. Glad to get to know you. Happy knitting, Granny LJ
Hi, Kittenseventoes! A group of knitters meets at the Wool Company in Bandon on Monday at 1:00 and on Thursday at 1:00. Though it is a yarn shop, they are hospitable to knitters who knit stuff from other places (like Knitpicks). You're welcome to join us!
Hi, I love Cats, kittens, I love to knit and crochet, sew. tat. I love Cats. I have an orange cat that looks something like yours. We call him baby, baby orange kitty, kitty. I'm not sure if he actually has a name or not. But he is definately a baby. We have 2 other cats. It's nice to meet you. I have been addicted to knitting socks. Have a nice Easter.
I know sometimes I can never find a reply button, but the Portuguese kniiting was very, very easy I just need to practice more at it, the video is well worth the money and it comes with a pin to use.
