Hi Allison,
Yes the background is one of my watercolor paintings. It is titled Coral Dreams.
What is positional vertigo and how does salt affect it? Will one of the Britta or Pur filters not filter out the salt? Our water tastes terrible here so we always filter our drinking water.
I do hope you will feel better soon too.
Pat
I am used to my allergies so it is not a big deal just something I have to live with and adjust my lifestyle accordingly.

Hello Allison,
I have been having issues with allergies leaving me with a stuffy head and dizziness. In otherwords feeling just plain crappy.
I haven't viewed the latest lesson, but will tonight I think. I have been working on a design for a beaded pencil basket. You know one of those round pencil baskets about the size of an empty vegetable can, at least that's where I keep some of my pens and pencils. UGLY!!! The basket I am designing will be self supporting. Anyway that's where I've been. Thanks for thinking of me. You made my day.
Oh yes, I also started a blog on knit picks. It was a lot of fun and I sure hope to keep this one going.
Keep the needles clicking and have a great weekend.
Pat

Allison, it is beautiful--love the red strap and the red eyes! Great job!

Allison, I had kind of a crazy day and have not played with the IPod. But I only have one page and the 2 apps I purchased are not on it. Will try tomorrow, Thanks.... Love the mittens. My second pair I did the afterthought thumb and it is positioned just like yours. Looks a little off to me too but Kelley hasn't steered us wrong yet :)

Allison, Try this site--I found the directions a little difficult at first but I adjusted as I went--I used the first foundation (black) for the back--can't see the mistakes--it was fun to make!
Oh--love your mitten cuffs--2 at a time? That might confuse me! lol--but will eventually try it, hopefully.
The crochet scarf was sooooo easy--whipped up in no time! the pattern--will look for it and send. KL

I think the postings are once a week based on the first two lessons; therefore, I am thinking the next lesson will be next Tuesday. But, she might post a new lesson before then since it probably is not going to take very long for others to knit the cuff.

Thanks! I don't really know how it works, either, but we will learn! Will there be a lesson today?
