I noticed you have made the RAHA SCARF on page 63 of the book Knitted lace of Estonia. Any help reading these charts I would also love to see a pic of the back side of your scarf. Is this a good one to start with? I love the book but I find these charts hard to figure out.
ANY HELP or tips would be great.

Regarding the spindle: You will do fine. I love spinning with my drop spindle. First of all, no one knows what I'm doing. So I feel mysterious, smug, and productive, all at the same time. Can't beat that! Secondly, it's so portable. I can stash my supplies in my purse, and spin while I'm in a waiting room. Thirdly, I can make my own yarn. The feeling of empowerment is incredible. There is one downside to spindle spinning. It takes FOREVER to spin enough yarn for a sweater. >^_^< The Exleftcoastgirl
