Yarn Harlot and Irish Cottage Style Knitting

I sent this email to Stephanie today and thought I could gain some insight from my friends at KP:

I happened to stumble across a video of you on youtube today showing how you knit Irish Cottage Style found here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P51GByV0H2w. I'm very interested in learning this technique and how exactly you hold the yarn. Also, does this work on circular needles? Any suggestions you could offer would be greatly appreciated!

Any input or links that anyone can add to help me with this will be greatly appreciated!!

I'm glad that Kate showed the video that slowed it down. I hate it when someone is showing a technique and is using movements way too fast for someone to understand what they are doing. I will now have to keep an eye out for this method.
