Yarn Harlot and Irish Cottage Style Knitting

I sent this email to Stephanie today and thought I could gain some insight from my friends at KP:

I happened to stumble across a video of you on youtube today showing how you knit Irish Cottage Style found here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P51GByV0H2w. I'm very interested in learning this technique and how exactly you hold the yarn. Also, does this work on circular needles? Any suggestions you could offer would be greatly appreciated!

Any input or links that anyone can add to help me with this will be greatly appreciated!!

It's really not that difficult. My hardest problem in doing it was remembering to do it!

Peggy, I found this video on youtube from knitwitch that shows backwards knitting and it's very cool looking http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vT-u3MBGFtI

I started knitting backwards with my entrelac. I really liked it.

Exploring is good, even if you like how you currently knit. One of my goals for this year was to learn to knit backwards. I haven't done that yet. After the wedding....

Not unhappy, just exploring! I've learned over the past couple of weeks that that my late night unwinding from work knitting is speeding along with any distractions.....lol! I'm amazed at how many different ways to knit exist :)
