WOHOOO, I've finally finished the sweater I've done in April this year. I got the yarn when DH gave me some extra spending money / allowance for my yarn. The pattern I got in the same shop (you could call it my LYS, but it's more a small craft store with loads of other stuff, too). It asked for other yarn, but I think I've chosen well.
The knitting was done in April, but I could never get myself to sew it up - especially so because weather got warmer quickly and other things just took priority (and I HATE sewing up). SO, now that we're back to autumn / fall, I've dug it back up. The sweater was lying next to me in my knitting basket for a good week and a half. Looked at me. Wanted me to sew it up. But I HATE sewing up (did I mention that? LOL). And then my dear friends here gave me a gently nudge, just enough to get me going. Only for me to find out that the proportions of the sleeves were slightly wrong. So I undid about 1/3 of each sleeve and re-knitted them yesterday. Then today I finally knitted it up. What'ya think? I haven't worn it yet, but I love it to bits.
