Knitting Community

I love the pattern on the front Cover of Vogue called Botanica Medallion Cardigan, it very similar to a vest I did without the fancy detail.
Then it learning and updating this new community site that seems to consume me away from knitting...Oh me, I love it all the connecting, the sharing, and knitting something new.

I didn't pay too much attention to the yarn requirements, but immediately of some of the KP cottons. I just went back and looked and it is suggesting DK weight cotton, but I bet the new organic cotton in worsted weight would work... you would just have to play with the gauge and needle size a little. It would be really pretty in either Ginger or Toffee. And with the huge yardage of the KP yarn, you would only need betweek 6 and 7 balls. I may have to put this on my to do list.

I bought the issue for that pattern too, though I generally don't like Vogue patterns very much. Usually not my style at all. Which Knitpicks yarn do you think it would look good in?

Jeanne,
I love the pattern. I just looked it up on Ravelry. It is gorgeous. I'll have to buy that issue, though I've never bought Vogue Knitting before. That is just too, too wonderful. Susan
