What a nice vacation.......
Since Christmas I have been off and on the computer - more on than off according to my brother....... But I promised myself that while I would get on the computer between Christmas day and the 7th, I was on media vacation and I didn't *have* to respond to anything. Not that I still didn't work.... I'm slightly addicted. LOL
The holidays were nice - I went to my dad's parents house, and my mom's parents came over. LOL My family is strange that way - my gma's have become fairly good friends in the past few years, and now both sides of my family are almost ALWAYS present at any family function. It's awesome. :D
I am working on putting together some gift baskets to list on my Etsy shop...... They will probably be listed around 30-40 US dollars...... They are going to be jam packed and worth every penny of it though. I am praying I will be able to sell them..... there are a few things I'd really like to be able to buy this year as Christmas presents (yes, I start early) and birthday presents (Since there are 8 in my immediate family, not counting mine..... LOL) this year. A huge part of the profit is going to something my parent's have *no* clue about.
Their anniversary is fast approaching, and though I don't have enough money to hold this that soon - on or close to their anniversary - I want to hold a party in their honor this summer. It's got a lot of planning, but I am hoping that I will be able to pay for it with the sale of 2 - 3 of these baskets.
At any rate, I didn't mean to write a book. LOL
