Vacation

The long awaited holiday vacation has finally arrived.  I was really happy to see the end of school on Friday.  I even got a hair appointment at the last minute.  I finally donated about 20 inches of hair.  I forgot what it is like to have really short hair.  It sticks up all over the place, but is much lighter.  I thought I would have kicked off my holiday by knitting the evenings away.  Instead I came down with some mystery bug.  I am trying to decide if I have the stamina for a quick trip to the store & to pick up a turtle from my friend for my DD.  She has been very good the last couple of days.  I just want to be feeling well enough for a little decorating and cookie making sometime in the next couple of days.  Other than that enough preholiday knitting was finished to give away 4 scarves.  I have had a request for more fingerless gloves & thought I would give the yarn harlot's pretty thing a whorl.  I still have a funky sock monkey to finish, though I have not felt well enough to knit these past couple of days.  I am hoping that changes by tomorrow.  Happy Holidays.
