Triumph at last!!

Finished up my Sip bag!! A huge learning curve with it's inside-out dps knitting with strands and the welts!!. Finished it with upholstery fabric lining, a zip pocket inside, zip on lining with commercial handle attached to lining, the additional knitted edge just back-stitched to the zipper on top. My first pair of socks, and latest sweater are also in the photo. The socks were a triumph as well--at least for me. I'm into EZ with all the books I've ordered from KP--I'm devouring her techniques--love the EZ% system. I'm going to try the seamless yoke first, but turn it upside down--I prefer the fair-isle work without the weight of the body of knitting--also easier to fit!! Another chunk of learning curve to conquer!! Thanks KP for all the resources you provide!!

I agree with PickleSue, but I don't know where I'm going to find the time to become involved in Ravelry as well as here. I've been a member of Ravelry for 18 months but have not been active in it. But then I wasn't a member here until 6 months ago. And now you can't shut me up!

Just got the other 3 lately, will wait on Opinionated Knitter for now. Have you seen all the Herbert Niebling stuff? That is lace for you. I nearly wet myself the first time I saw the pics on Ebay. I still don't have any of his patterns. Working my way there, though. You do wonderfully beautiful work! Very impressive!! I want to watch what you do, so I'm adding you as a friend on here and Ravelry!! Hope that's ok! I only got excited about Ravelry in the last coupla weeks. I didn't know you could find a book that you want and look at pics of most if not all the patterns in it. And the projects people have made from it. Next to here at KP, that is my favorite web place to be. :)
