Knitting Community

I'm on vacation this week, but I thought I'd share a video I took last week while I was home during the photoshoot day. I recently reorganized my yarn stash (and frankly am rather embarrassed by the meagerness of my stash, but now that I can see it all, I'll be much more inspired to start projects!).

I got those great tubs at Target. And, here are links to some other knitting supplies I find indispensable:
Jacquard Acid Dyes and Sock Yarn Dye Blanks
Yarn Swift
Yarn Ball Winder
Needle Binder Cases
Knitting Needle Coil Wraps - you can see these holding my DPN sets together in the binder pockets - I love these little things!

You inspired me, Tina! I had to take a trip to Target anyway, yesterday, and picked up these bad girls! 3 see-through Rubbermaid drawers in Green. My favorite color!

I love how I can see all my yarn! Way better than the bins, although those now contain all my el cheapo yarn and WIPS. Woohoo!

Steal my ideas, eh? We went to BigLots and I got a bunch of those same Sterlite drawers. Great for stash. I have 2 drawers devoted to Palette--cool in one, warm in the other. One drawer is lace wt, one sock yarn (one only?) Most are arranged by weight but one is current projects.

Great organization! I have my pitiful little stash in a rubbermaid tub but my needles are just in a project bag right now. Im asking for some gift cards for xmas so I can load up on supplies! LOL

That's wonderful! I have a similar system set up, but with much less space in my tiny little condo. I really hope someday that I can have an entire room for knitting supplies! Your space looks so peaceful!

Wow, Tina! Your workspace is really inspirational. You gave me a lot of great ideas. I especially like the great lighting above the work areas. I think I know what I'll be doing this weekend. Fall cleaning and reorganizing of the craft room!

Wow, Tina... you MUST organize my stash & knitting tools for me! I keep meaning to invest in Rubbermaid drawers like those. Yarn balls are starting to double as decorative tumbleweeds in my apartment. I think the time's come.

I wish I had the amount of yarn that you have!! I am doing my best to knit what I have. Great to see that someone else is as crazy about being organized as I am!

I have a "play" room, too, but I call it my workroom, so DH doesn't realize how much fun I'm having! (Maybe I should post a photo, so you could see true chaos!) Good rundown on tools we use! --Peggy
