Sgiach Shawl KAL weekend - Saturday, May 21st and Sunday, May 22nd - all and everyone welcome

Hi all,

Recently the pattern of this lovely Sgiach shawl was test knitted. Seeing the shawl and the pattern, my fingers, needles and yarn itch.

So after a quick discussion on one of the forums here we've decided to join together for a weekend of fun making this lovely shawl together, each and everyone wherever we are, but sharing in the joy of creating this lovely garment.

Would you like to join us? You're more than welcome. The more, the merrier. We'd love to have you.

I hope this all gives everyone ample time to plan ahead. If not, I'm sure we'll not finish this all in one go, so another weekend is a very real possibility.

Happy knitting, everyone! :)

Peggy might be able to skype it. All I can do is take photos and upload to post here. Might have to get some sigs. Have 2 shawls that require size 7 dpns, assuming they make them that big. That or just some plastic ones.

OMG I want those sigs! It took a moment but she couldnt remember my name but remembered me from one of her classes. So that helped the memory cells kick in. Will try to post new ENORMOUS stash soon. Shhhh, got some quivik. One 218yd, 1oz ball. Dont tell anyone as we all know what that is. Went a little hog wiled at the Sanguine gryphon booth. That vendor at both SS's was a mad house. I had a gift card that needed using.

AB, that is so cool! No, you are not an idiot! If someone tapped me on the shoulder, I would expect to know them. I would be the doofus because I probably wouldn't recognize the face with the name. I'm terrible with names and faces. How'd you like the Signature Arts Needles?

Maria, so sorry to hear of your mom, sending you a invisible love packed prayer shawl.

You wont believe what happened at SS. I was standing there testing out the sig needles and someone I figured just someone I knew from knitting stores and such tapped me on shoulder to say hi and I turn around and its Anne Hanson! I'm going on about how wow these are nice before I turn around. Ok so I'm an idiot.
