Knitting Community

Confession..... along with an embarrassing amount of sock yarn I've also acquired a scrap stash of equal, okay, maybe greater proportion.
Finding it impossible to throw anything fiber related out, I had to find a solution to my (ever growing) problem. Now imagine my excitement when I happened across Danger Crafts on Ravelry. I no longer had to be afraid of what was lurking under my bed. No more stray yarn balls going 'bump' in the night. Scrap monsters to the rescue!!!! All Rebecca's patterns are well written, imaginative & adorable...What's not to love????
I'm looking to knit up a small army of monsters for Christmas this year. Armed with gift cards, they will be perfect for young & old alike!
You'll be seeing more of these little guys when the Gift-along starts up.
Happy knitting~

Peggy - omg! hairy gray fleece???? these little guys aren't scary at all and perfectly suited for a little one.

The Knitting Witch
- So comforting to know I'm not alone in my scrap hoarding. Why is it so difficult to throw out leftover yarn??? even the smallest bits are tucked away and saved. These monster should help make a dent! ;)

Susan - Congrats on the new grandbaby!!!! You could knit up a super soft, cuddly monster in Crayon for the wee one's arrival.

Cellogirl - hah! you read my mind....out with the old, in with new. :)

Thanks so much ladies! Hope you all have a great weekend!!!

They are darling!!--your gift list will be delighted--and your stash UFOs depleated!!--just think, no juggling bumping bags of yarn under the bed!! Room for more KP projects!!

How wonderful! Thanks for the information. My new grandchild could probably use one of these.

Those are just too dear. They put me in mind of a baby gift a weird friend gave me before the birth of our older son. It was sort of a pillow out of very hairy gray fleece, with two eyes and two jagged, sharp teeth. Not really appropriate for a baby. These would be OK, though. Thanks for sharing. I may do a couple. --P
