Sad News from Mason Dixon

Dear friends,

This is a difficult thing to write.

After a brief illness, Kay's beloved husband Peter passed away on Saturday.

Kay asked that I write to let you all know this.

I can't possibly convey to you how delightful Peter was. This is a tremendous loss for everyone who knew him and was the recipient of his boundless love and care.

Kay has been absolutely extraordinary throughout this difficult period. She says she and her family are holding up.

She suggests that if anybody feels like knitting anything, Afghans for Afghans is a wonderful organization that has no end of need for the things we make.

And she assures me that she will return, in good time, to this place that she calls her happy place.
