Kelley, Great advice on the fibers.Even though I've never been partial to wearing wool - I always throught of it as too itchy - I am learning that fiber content is a lot more complex than I ever realized. My recently finished Lindsay Socks in Essential Tweed taught me that wool does not have to be itchy. I've been doing a lot of cotton knitting, thanks to KP, the Montavilla Market Tote, and Simply Cotton and Comfy yarns. But I have some wonderful wools to begin working on blankets, sweaters, socks, etc. for this fall. I'm a little concerned with my recent 100% alpaca project... and though it is beautiful, am concerned abot how it will last.
