Hi Kelley,
Any chance you will post the websites that you talk about as well as the books on the podcast page?
Thanks for another fun podcast.

Thank you, Knittenator!
Apps are turning out to be an unexpected joy with the iTouch. I'm using Edibles for diet maintainence and Shopper for shopping lists.

Welcome to the iPod Touch world --thought I'd suggest 2 of my favorite apps for you to sample:
Evernote -- I use this all the time. (they describe themselves as your electronic 'memory' -- stores notes, Web snippets, images, you name it -- on the iPod Touch, your computer, and online in the 'cloud'. Cross-platform (Windows and Mac). You might like this to make lists, keep notes, etc. that sync on all computers/devices you use. You can find the main site online. And it's free! (though you can upgrade to a heftier version for a fee).
in the ap store on iTunes, there's a new Public radio app that streams NPR stations from all over the country as long as your iPod Touch is connected to Wi-Fi. I listen to this a lot at night when I want a good jazz or blues station or there's a program I like in another city.
Hey Kelley: I'm really enjoying your podcasts, they are so informative. Can i make a small suggestion here; could you give more details in your show notes? I'm relieved that other listeners included Meg Swanson's book title in their comments so that I could find it more easily. And how about t a screen shot of your Excel page? Thanks All!

Hi Julia,
Thank you the details on Meg's gloves!! I'm glad to hear from someone who actually tried them. I need to grab the book from my bookshelf and check out the yarn gauge. I have some Imagination left over from socks. That would a very warm pair of gloves.
Don't get me started on Shamrock!! I love that yarn! I think it is ideal for making simple, knit in the round raglans because the yarn makes such a visually appealing fabric. I had men in mind when I designed the yarn but I think women have usurped it for themselves! :)
Kelly, I just listened to your podcast about gloves and HAD to join so I could post a comment. You MUST try Meg Swansen's I-cord glove pattern (in her book Handknitting with Meg Swansen) IT IS SO COOL!!! You knit the fingers one at a time using the I-cord method (which the 4" needles would be so perfect for!) Then you use a crochet hook to pick up the ladders that form when you do a 5 or 6 stitch I-cord and that finishes the finger. All the fingers are knitted first, then you pick up the stitches at the base of the fingers (the pinkie finger is added a few rows down for a better fit) and start knitting around for the hand, add the thumb on and start increasing for the thumb gusset. It is as easy as that! I made mine a little thicker by sing Wool of the Andies. My next pair is going to be in a sport weight or DK.
By the way, as I type this I am wearing my newly finished sweater knit with Shamrock and I can not believe how soft it is!! I can wear it with a short sleeve shirt and it does not itch at all!!!!! I am totally addicted to Shamrock now, I have just cast on my next sweater in Shamrock Dougherty and my DH has requested sweaters in two of the other Shamrock colors. That should keep me busy for a while. - Julia

Hi, Kelley! My DH finally let me out of the straight jacket he had me in. I was undergoing "KP Podcast Withdrawal!" I'm especially glad to have you back because I've been putting your podcasts on CDs, and #88 was sitting on my desktop waiting for #89, so I could record them. How interesting that you talk about mittens, when we're having a blizzard! Also, I have a big pot of roving and blue Kool Aid dye cooling on the stove. A new "process" for me. Good luck with your GM Flower Garden. Someday I'll post a photo of mine. Happy knitting/quilting/spinning! --Peggy
