Kelley,
I only got to listen to this podcast yesterday...no computer that would pick it up. I have knitted several entrelac projects, and probably will again... I'm thinking about learning how to dye my handspun yarn in a manner that would go well with this knitting process.
You mentioned in the podcast that the process was similar to short rows... well, it is, but it isn't.
I'm really sorry that you do not like this knitting process, but it is a very attractive way to show case certain yarns, which KP unfortunately does not not carry.

Thank you for the suggestion! I looked it up on Ravelry and, you are right, it does look like an excellent way to try out entrelac. Everyone in the office will laugh if I actually end up making something!
Hugs,
Kelley

Although I never really thought much about entrelac knitting before, this podcast really whetted my appetite to learn this technique. Printed out several tutorials recommended by other Ravelry members at entrelac-related groups, purchased and downloaded KnitPicks entrelac tote bag pattern. Will be ordering the yarn for it soon, but may start out making something smaller like the Garterlac Dishcloth by Dave at Criminy Jickets (on Ravelry). Thanks, ladies!
