For the knitters who like to keep it all electronic, you can use Microsoft's OneNote application. It is an electronic version of a binder/notebook. You can cut and paste information from websites and it even includes the source link for referencing later. I use it for recipes too. I use the 2007 because it came with my version of Office for my school.

Here is a link to the MS site for it:

Let me know if you use it for knitting... I would like to share

G'day Kelley.

excited to hear you are coming down under! have a fabulous time and would love to hear if you are doing any work related talks or visits or workshops?

Us Aussie knitters definitely hear you on the no knitting on aeroplanes thing. drives me bonkers! apparently the Australian airlines security people are reviewing the policy and there was a petition going to get the knitting restriction lifted. cross your fingers for us! maybe next time you visit you will have a choice of knitting or spinning! It's a long flight- maybe you could do both.

love your show,

Hi Kelley, I've been enjoying your podcasts for quite a while. Your discussion with this one, though, about notebooks and printing random pages for inspiration...yes, it is a good one, but here is a couple things you might want to look into. There is an application for Flickr that enables you to search by colors! It is amazing fun and incredibly useful. Here's the link: http://snipurl.com/5zkw5

Also, I use Evernote as a wonderful virtual notebook and organizer, it's free and so useful. I used to do the same thing you describe for knitting and polymer clay and recipes, until I found Evernote. It has a one touch version for my IPhone as well, and a one button bookmark bar tool for when I'm on the computer so I can clip and tag things I find on the internet. I think you'll like them both. Have fun.

Hi Kelly,

I've been a great fan of your podcasts, and I love listening to them on my way around town. Today, I was sitting on the bus, knitting some socks as you were talking about the socks you were working on/finished using your Imagination line. What a coincidence! I was also knitting the Faceted Rib socks from the Little Box of Socks in Imagination's Frog Prince! I thought the pattern was great for the yarn. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your podcasts, and I had this tiny moment of connection with you.

Cheers,
Joyatee
