Hello Kelly, Nina, and Kerin,
Thank you for a fantastic podcast. I really appreciate how generous you are with your knowledge. I love sitting in my favorite knitting spot, knitting in hand, and listening to your program. Not only do I feel refreshed through my time of relaxation, but I also end up more intelligent about my favorite craft. The information about swatching and blocking is invaluable. Thank you so much!
Oh and hey! What's the answer to the last knitting trivia question about getting water out of yarn? Dying to know.........Ana

Kelly,
Thanks for the pod cast on Blocking you saved a sweater I was having a problem with. I was so afraid to really block the heck out of it but once I heard the pod cast I figured what the heck. Now it fits perfect! All these years of knitting and I have been so afraid of blocking.

I knew nothing about blocking until I started listening to the podcasts... and yes I did listen to Podcast Episode 52, thank you. The first time I did block a project, my DH thought I was nuts... then I explained how important it was to the shaping of the item and to truly make the piece what it was intended to be. Now I block EVERYTHING! Thanks for the designers perspective, too. That really helped. --S

Wish there had been more info about blocking. Lots of good swatching motivation, tips, etc but not much about blocking the finished product!!! not just blocking swatches.

The blocking section is great--necessary--informational. The session with the designers is inspiring as well as great information--really frees one to play with what we create in knitting. I love the what ifs of designing, patterns are fine, but they're only a guide to what we want to create. That's why the finishing can be so individual, the experimentation of needle and yarn gauge and alteration of written pattern is so important to one's creativity!! Thanks Kelley for another fantastic pod-cast!! Information plus creativity--that's what knitting is all about!!

I'll have to wait until after the party to download the podcast, but I love blocking! It's so much fun to see the project getting finished up. Especially for lace and Fair Isle, that doesn't look too good before blocking! --P
