I'm getting caught up on my KPPs and just listened to this one today. After visiting the Palette page to view all the luscious colors I began to wonder... why not display them on the page using the progression of the colorwheel as a guide. So, instead of having greens in 5 different sections, they're all in one? This would make it easier to determine which green is best for your personal project.

Additionally, how about giving us Pallette Pals? This would be a method to see contrasting/complementary/analogous or triadic or other specially designed color schemes that go together well. Based on Kerin's comment that some of these fabulous colors were "orphaned", but have since had a family built around them. When determining the colors I want to use in a pattern, it would be very helpful to see the groups that were designed to work together beautifully. Since they are not designed to stand on their own, why not identify some of the colors that were designed to stand together? Perhaps this just amounts to a couple of predetermined sorts of the colors displayed on the page.

Just a thought that came to mind.

Thanks so much for the fab podcast. You've done an amazing job with it. I like saving them up and listening in Kelley Marathons.

Thank you thank you thank you. I just listened to this 'cast last night (been on vacation!) and have gone straight to the Palette line. I am just now into Fair Isle--doing my first sweater with more to come--and have wanted to do some intarsia for a long time and the new colors are so wonderful I can't even express it. The variety, depth, richness are all very much appreciated. The yellows, the browns, the blues, ... stop me or I'll start naming them all one at a time! I'll be ordering a new color sample card and planning all my new colorwork projects. Thank you so much.

As a librarian and knitter, I've come to adore your podcasts. Not only do I get my knitting fix, aurally no less, but wonderful reviews (and interviews with authors) of new knitting books.
I've been knitting and reading, and reading about knitting for more years than I'd like to count. And I am always boggled by Kelley's knowledge of knit lit, and especially her loving references to EZ and Meg.
The discussion of the development of Palette yarn colors was especially interesting in this podcast. A few years ago, someone (Kerin?) actually designed a sweater using all the then available colors. As I was listening, I had a vision of a Bohus type cardigan worked up in Palette yarn. Whenever I run across one of those Bohus cardigans I always wonder, what on earth would you knit that with today? Any chance of Kerin, or another of your amazingly talented team of designers considering this?
I also host several knitting groups in local libraries, and we've occasionally done group orders. And I've now started to recommend your podcasts, and tutorials.
What wonderful work you do! Here's one experienced knitter who's impressed!
Thank you,
Grace
