Yahoo, I just love hats!!! And I love color work to spice it up. This hat was made at the request of a friend, expecting her second in January. I put it off so long (she asked back in October!) and I JUST managed to finish it, hopefully she will receive it before the birth, as it is to go with the baby's going home outfit.
It is a basic little hat with a bit of 1x1 ribbing, then some very simple colorwork to match the outfit. I made it up as i went along.

The brim seems to like to be folded, and I think it would be good worn either way.

Here, Hugh graciously offered to model the hat for his future bud.

And here Hugo is showing how it looks good with the brim folded up. Also, he is apparently whistling for a taxi.
