I finished my first real pair of grown up sized socks.
I was worried when i started that i didn't LOVE it like so many talk about; but i really enjoyed them, especially once i got the hang of it - the increases, decreases, etc....
I am now working on another pair :)

that would be correct! I have the book Charmed Knits-which is all about Harry's world-there's House sweaters, socks, all kinds of things. One of the items is a sweater like Molly's--multicolored and neat looking..takes a special peson to be able to wear that one though. The House sweaters are jsut called that because of the colors that are used to represent each House in Hogwarts. Thinking of making one this wiinter..

Mary, I like turning the heel also. It's like magic and I know how you love magic!

Woohoo!! You did it! Great job.
I don't know why but I was very nervous when I knit my first pair of socks. After I was done though I was very excited that I did it.

You did a great job! Can't believe you've been knitting less than a year.
