Knitting Community

So I have to tell you all how excited I was about this project. The weather had gotten cold enough that I wanted gloves for H while out on our nightly walk but we didn't have any... so I looked through my stash of books and found this great pair from Knitting For Baby byMelanie Falick and Kristin Nicholas. This was my first project that I knit towards an end goal rather than knitting a project and finding a use for it. I used Swish Worsted in Lemongrass Heather. Since I already had the yarn and needles, this was literally a free project!!! Love it!

Thanks for the tip. My husband mentioned he might not mind a pair.... and Christmas is coming.

Hi, If you would like to knit more mittens for the whole family I have used the Classic Mitten pattern in all the sizes and they are perfect. You can get the pattern for free by going to http://www.freevintageknitting.com/mittens/615-mittens-pattern.html I love these mittens. My mom used the pattern in a book she had for years. My kids have always said my mittens are the BEST! Now I'm knitting them for my granddaughter.
