Knitting Community

Ollie is the second monster to invade my home and rid my stash of 2 1/2 skeins of yarn! The more creatures I make, the more yarn they gobble up. It's a win - win situation.

The pattern is from DangerCrafts on Etsy and I used Knit Picks Crayon doubled in Beach Glass, Light Blue & Kingfisher. The crayon makes a really soft & snuggly monster - despite those scary, jagged teeth!
(oh, and you may have noticed that Ollie is a boy monster, but I intend to knit up some girly versions like the pattern eventually too)

happy weekend!

The advantage of felting is you can bust more of your stash, and also the finished monster won't take up so much room piling up in your house! Of course, it won't work for any non-feltable stash members, such as superwash or synthetic. It would make a major hole in mine, though! --P

I'm telling you, these cuddly monsters are excellent stash busters - the possibilities are endless!
