A lot of things have happened in my life since I last wrote anything. I did finally master sock knitting and my preference is two at a time, toe up. I have also made some lace items. These are two of my knitting goals. I have also been learning to spin on my Kromski Sonata. I'm getting better at it , but it certainly still looks like homespun. I have moved to Greensboro, GA and am living in our lovely retirement home on Lake Oconee. My husband is still working and living in the old house untill he can retire. He has recently undergone treatment for bladder cancer and we are happy to know that everything now is all clear. Praise God.
Some of you know that I am getting ready to undergo open heart surgery. It has been rescheduled twice, but is now set for this Monday, Feb.25th. It will be a while until I do any more knitting. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
