Knitted Doilies

Wow! the possibilities are endless. After seeing the Hemlock Ring made into a throw, and seeing Vogue's newest issue Botanic Cardigan, it got my imagination going, Who says a doily has to be a doily. Change the weight of your yarn and the size of your needle and I believe you just became a somewhat lace knitter. I like the thought of changing the usual square, rectangle to a circular look. I can just picture this beautiful doily made up in DK weight resting across someone's shoulders, maybe even mine. The patterns can be found in a booklet by Leisure Arts Publication.
