I think the last time I posted, I was just announcing my third pregnancy (I found out around 4 wks), and I am now less than a week from my second trimester. So it's been a while! :) But I'm back now. I was too nauseated for a few weeks to do more than the bare minimum on the computer (or anywhere else, for that matter), and then we went on vacation (which was great), and then last week I had Kids' Discipleship Day Camp at church (I was one of the leaders)...but I am finally home and feeling good enough to post again.

I am still working on the baby blanket from my last post, but I'm getting close to being done. I'm thinking one to two more weeks before I'm through. :) I'm excited to be done with it--it's a lovely pattern, but I'm ready for some quick projects and a blanket I can knit while watching previous seasons of Smallville and CSI. :) That blanket will be knit for my soon-to-be brother-in-law (my sister got engaged on my b-day!). He desperately wanted the one I knit for my sister last year, so this year's Christmas present blanket goes to him. He is awesome--we just officially met him while on vacation--and he fits our family like a glove. We love him and he loves us, and I can't think of someone better for my little sister. :) She loved the cat, by the way. :)

My u/s is August 11th, and we plan to find out the gender. I don't like surprises (although the gift card to knitpicks from my in-laws for my b-day was a welcome surprise!), so hopefully the baby will participate.

I better get going for now, but I wanted to post real quick before another day passed without connecting with my stitchmates. :)

Thanks! Things are still crazy busy here--still haven't finished the blanket. Guess I've got time though. :) I'll try to update soon!

Hopefully the little one will cooperate! It's good to hear you are feeling better. Blankets are definitely a lot of work, but you can do it : )

So glad you are feeling better. I know those first few weeks can be terrible. Good luck on finishing the blankets. That is a lot of work. I'm doing a few smaller things right now to calm myself down a bit. It does help.
