I got a text mid last week asking if I wanted to do an Iknitarod to the Iditarod. I got to thinking (briefly briefly) about it and quickly agreed. But instead of picking up a new project, I would see how many UFOs I could complete. I had decided late last month/beginning of this month, that I needed to finish DH's sweater. He already had been complaining that three winters had passed and yet the sweater is not done after I've completed soo many other projects. Well, I can't put it down for the Iknitarod, so - I'm continuing. I've got the back done - I'm not sure about the front. I'll look soon. I'm currently working on the sleeves. I cast them on forgetting that I was supposed to go back and forth. Nope, not going back. I'll make do on the round - besides, my purls are more even this way. I'm currently working on a "Subtle Stripes Pullover" from Creative Knitting 2006.

I learned the hard way that if I do one sleeve at a time, my guage might end up different on the second sleeve. Same with socks. Except socks are, you know: second sock syndrome. Which, for me, means casting both sleeves on at the same time. The sleeve are reverse knit with ribbing in the center front. Now that I'm close to the top of the sleeve, every now a then, I torture DH and put them on him to see if I need to continue or not.

The problem is, I received my latest issue of Interweaves Magazine and did you see the Yggdrasil Afghan?????? ~gasps~ ooooooo, I wanna knit that! So I downloaded the pattern. Hmm. I need to print it out before I can continue. I'm not sure I can do it from the screen. And. And! I must finish this sweater!
