I am here; just not here.

I realized that it's been several months since I've posted on the blog. I'm sure you have pined for my posts every day, wondering where-oh-where has PeachyQueen gone? (/Where -oh-where could she be? With her scarf so short and the hank so long/ Where-oh-where could she be?)

Well, the pull was too strong. I fought my desire and ultimately succumbed. I started a podcast: Jewish Diva Diaries: a Little Knitting, a Little Jewish Family Life . . . .What's not to love? You can find me on iTunes and at JewishDivaDiaries.blogspot.com.

Organizing a podcast has been a challenge. I certainly can speak into a microphone. I'm a litigation attorney, thus trained to listen to myself talk for hours. I am technology-challenged, however. I managed to figure out the recording software, but had a heck of a time trying to get the podcast posted on blogspot. I then had multiple requests to get the podcast on iTunes. It almost took an act of G-d to get the podcast on iTunes. I just completed my 4th podcast, and it went to iTunes Sunday night without a glitch.

Once I get the podcast more organized, I will need to blog more regularly. I am trying to limit the podcast to 30 minutes, which is precious little time for me to talk. As a SAHM with small children, I really need an outlet with adult ears. Let's face it, my kids are not interested in my inability to hold yarn-overs or in the gifts I am making for our relatives.

Well, today I am taking a well deserved sick day. I finally have a day to myself to knit whatever I want, even if it is not under the best of conditions.
