I saw the Helix Mitten pattern when I was writing about The Essential Guide to Color Knitting Techniques and thought it was so pretty and also seemed fairly simple. I don't really know how to do intricate two-color knitting and really do hate weaving in ends so this project seemed perfect. I had a few spare balls of Wool of the Andes Powder and Snickerdoodle and thought they might look good together, turns out they did. It was quick to knit and I am receiving a lot of compliments. The original pattern was for mittens, but I already have a favorite pair so I modified it to be fingerless gloves.
