Happy New Year to all my fellow KPers out there. The new year finds me still (!) without a car, but the promise of one soon..I hope. Which means everyday my DH drives me to work, and DS earns his new scarf and picks me up. I can't wait til I can drive my own car ( and listen to my own music instead of the news station). I'm relaxing post holiday knitting, but gearing up at the same time. Over on Ravelry, my Harry Potter group has gone back to winter classes-yippee!!! First assignment in Transfiguration was to transfigure your queue (items waiting) into something manageable. Of course since there's a grade involved, there were certain guidelines concering tagging things etc. Some people had over 300 items queued up..dear Lord when do they think they'll get to them? I realize that's just a someday list, but ginkees velma! Having that information storage area is wonderful for me--helped me get a handle on things-even have all my needles etc in there now..wonderful assignment..
I currently am working on a pink yarn stashbuster-log cabin baby afghan/stroller blanket..then on to a NEW UFO list. I frogged my Montavilla tote-got tired of 4 different balls tangling up. I saw a few over on Ravelry using 2 colors instead of 4--think I'll try that this time...
have a lovely day all!!!
