Finally got some pictures of some pretty squirrelly folks.

Finally got some pictures of some pretty squirrelly folks... plus some knitting...

The little DD is in the Pinwheel Sweater by Shelly Mackie and the older DD is in the Seamless Shirt Yoke Sweater by Elizabeth Zimmermann. The former was finished in the last few weeks- but the latter has been done for a while, I just couldn't seem to get pictures taken!

And since it was just 40 degrees out, this is how the last picture looked- I snapped just as she moved and was saying, "But, Mom!!! My hands are soooo cold!!" However, the bribe for getting this photo session was an extra long recess in the snow. They got all bundled up in snowpants and boots and were out sledding and making snowmen for over an hour. I almost made it that long. I didn't have slicky pants on like they did. Now I wonder why I didn't take pictures of them in the snow for you too!!

Thanks Cheryl. You're sweet.
Stephanie- sorry I didn't see your comment until now!! Thank you so much! I'm addicted to fingerlesss mittens currently, and trying to work out where to put beads on a WIP shawl. Both are a first!

Thank you for the kind compliments. I will share them with the little lovelies. :) They both got to pick their colors- the little one was wearing her sweater yesterday, too. At supper she said- Mom- can you add some green (her favorite color at one time- thought it was switching to pink) here on the sleeves so I can see it? :)

Peggy, Both sweaters are wonderful! I thought they looked a bit unhappy, and now we know why... but they were both good sports for modeling their sweaters for you. And good job knitting, by the way! Great colors for both sweaters. and I think both of your daughters are adorable! --S
