I am finally done, boy is it beautiful. Well I think so anyway!

Just about done

My second skein of yarn now attached, after this two more to go

My first attempt at entrelac, notice the front is nice,

but the back, not so nice. Anyway, wish me luck and perseverance.

Wow. It's finished... love the colors. What colorway did you use?

Your scarf is really nice. I haven't started mine yet maybe I'll start it this weekend. I offered to teach my daughter to knit, but she wasn't interested. She said "only old people knit".

It's beautiful! I love those colors! I made the same scarf, also my first attempt at entrelac. Don't worry about the back, it blocks out nicely.

I posted a photo of my finished, blocked scarf in the Entrelac KAL. Sorry I didn't see your question sooner. --P

Once you get the "hang of it," it is really easy. And using two colors isn't too much different. There are a lot of free patterns out there on the internet for this scarf and for other items, purses, hats, etc. There is also an Entrelac KAL here on KP... there are helpful hints there, too.

I haven't tried entrelac stitching yet but it appears to be very difficult! Yours looks great! My friend and I were thinking of trying an entrelac bag... I see that you have one ball of yarn. Do you think it would be difficult to do 2 different colors to get a "checkers" effect?
