Desperately Seeking Sheldon...

Sheldon's been out of the office and on a whole slew of adventures since he got back from Japan. He made this slideshow of his latest travels so you could see what he's been up to.

On a more serious note, I know a few of you have noticed that the Sheldon career and animal outfit kits are no longer available, and are probably wondering where he went. We sold out!!!

But don't worry, all of the patterns from both kits will be available as free downloads by the end of April. We posted the first one, along with the pattern for his body (with permission from Sheldon's designer, Ruth) on our patterns page. If you'd like to be notified every time we add a new free Sheldon pattern, become our fan on Facebook to get our updates.

And for those of you in the Sheldon career outfits and Sheldon animal costume knitalongs, just keep knitting! You may even see a few new faces as the free patterns become available and people cast on a Sheldon of their very own.

We've had a good time together, me and Sheldon, but I think he's pretty eager to start his next adventure with you.

I'll be starting on two Sheldon's soon... one for my GD and one for a neighbor's daughter. When they are done, I want to make at least three of his "outfits" for each of them... so PLEASE don't discontinue the "Sheldon line" or the Sheldon Knitalong... I'm thinking it might be better to consolidate the "Sheldon Knitalong Community" by having a single KAL for all of us? Just a thought...

Now that Sheldon and his outfits will be available as downloads on KP, may his numbers multiply upon the earth! LOL! He's so cute!

When you say "become our fan on Facebook" you mean a KnitPicks fan, right? Not a separate Sheldon Fan? Pretty sure you meant KP Facebook Fan... which I already am, but if there is a separate fan for Sheldon, I'll want to do that too...
